Bundling expertise and knowledge
The Fraunhofer Center for Conservation and Energy Performance of Historic Buildings Benediktbeuern is an international competence center of the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics IBP which works in close cooperation with the Fraunhofer Information Center for Regional Planning and Building Construction IRBThe center mainly supports the transfer of knowledge, as well as partners from research, education, application, trade, the environment and the construction industry.
The following act as funding bodies and content partners of the Center:
institutes of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, the Bavarian State Office for the Preservation of Historical Monuments, the Bavarian Environment Agency, the Bavarian Chamber of Engineers, the Bavarian Construction Industry Association, the Technical University of Munich, the Otto Friedrich University of Bamberg, the International Association for Science and Technology of Building Maintenance and Monuments Preservation (WTA e.V.) as well as other further education and training institutions.
